Footscray Community Arts Centre
Footscray Community Arts Centre (FCAC) is a community-engaged, contemporary arts centre working with local, regional and international communities. Highpoint has worked with FCAC on many projects over the years, from Chirstmas installations to School Holiday programs. Some of our favourites include:
Love, Anonymous
Love, Anonymous was an immersive installation on Level 3 hosted in December 2015, where people could write an anonymous good-will message to a fellow community member. Contributions formed part of the installation, and were then delivered to people living in the local area. The installation’s concept was developed by artists and FCAC Emerging Cultural Leader Alumni, Ana Rita Pires and Jen Tran.
Art Muse
An explosion of colour and geometric shapes, Art Muse was a collaboration that transformed Level One into an interactive animation workshop during the April School Holidays in 2016.
