Thanks to the efforts of every Victorian, From 11:59 Sunday 22 November, we are moving to the Last Step of reopening. You can view the summary of changes via the DHHS website

Face Masks 
  • Face masks remain mandatory when indoors – for example the supermarket or on public transport.
  • Face masks are no longer mandatory when you are outdoors, if you can stay 1.5 metres away from people that you don’t live with
  • Use of face masks outdoors is required if you are unable to stay further than 1.5 metres away from people you don’t live with, such as at public transport stations, outdoor markets, walkways and thoroughfares.
  • You must continue to carry a face mask with you at all times.
  • You may remove your masks for services such as facials, beard trimming and facial waxing, tattoos and piercings. Masks should only be removed for the duration of the service.
  • You must wear a face mask when necessary unless a lawful exemption applies. 

Shopping, personal services, and entertainment
  • Cinemas are open with a 150 people limit (one person per 4 square meters)
  • Restaurants, cafes, pubs, and bars can open for outdoor and indoor seated service of food or drink. Indoor seated service for up to 150 people depending on the size of the venue. Outdoor seated service for up to 300 people (with a total venue limit of 300).
  • There is no limit on the size of the group you can sit or dine with.

Third Step restrictions apply across Victoria, effective 11.59pm Sunday 8 November, 2020. Here's what's changed. 
  • There are no restrictions on reasons to leave your home. 
  • Melbourne's 25km travel limit has been removed. 
  • Indoor entertainment venues will be able to open with 20 people per space. That means cinemas, galleries, museums and music halls will now be able to open.
  • Gyms and indoor sporting facilities can open with up to 20 people, subject to strict density limits.
  • Restaurants, pubs and cafes will be able to host up to 40 customers indoors and 70 outdoors.
  • Face Masks are still mandatory, unless a lawful exemption applies.

Following advice from the Victorian Government and the Department of Health & Human Services, Highpoint remains open and accessible to the community. In line with the latest Government announcements, retail and food will now reopen in centre.

Highpoint has been pleased to assist and work with the Victorian Government to provide safe and reliable testing facilities for our community since late June. From Monday 26 October you will no longer be able to receive a COVID test at Highpoint.

Testing is an important ongoing measure to keep our community safe, if you have any medical questions or seek further information on your local pop-up testing facility please visit the Department of Health & Human Services website.
