At Brava, we know that mums—and mother figures—come in all kinds of wonderful forms. Whether it's a stepmum, grandma, aunty, guardian, close family friend or even a fabulous work Manager who always has tissues, snacks, or wisdom on hand, the mothering role can show up in unexpected and beautiful ways. 

We also acknowledge those for whom Mother’s Day is tender or complex. Not everyone has a mum, and not everyone who wants to be a mum gets that chance. Sometimes, just being part of a team of women supporting each other through the highs, lows and bra dramas is its own form of mothering. It all counts. It all matters. 

2025: A Baby Boom at Brava! 
This year, we’ve had a flurry of little arrivals and exciting baby news across our Brava family. 
Gracie (Head Office) welcomed baby Rory in February—cutest team member yet! 
Cat (Admin) became a proud mum of two when baby Freyja arrived on 29 December 2024, making Tali a big brother. 
We’re also eagerly awaiting the arrivals of new babies from Stacey (Highpoint store) and Tara (Online Dispatch). There’s something in the water—and we love it.

For our founders, Lin and Max—a mother-daughter dream team—Mother’s Day is deeply personal. Brava was born from their shared frustration at not finding bras that actually fit. Their mission to support women—literally and emotionally—began with their own journey.
